See that photo? See those finger prints? They’re not mine, they’re right on where LG tells you NOT to handle the product, and being it’s an LG electronic, I’m sure it doesn’t need to be abused for it to fail early. It’s fine, I’ve heard great things about LG panels and just so burned by LG in the past where it honestly didn’t matter… then I seem 33% off and thought it might be worth another chance.
Aside from the blatantly terrible packing procedures LG employees neglected, I'm actually quite pleased with the picture quality. Everything you’d expect from a 2K monitor IPS monitor, HDR on doesn’t look washed out. I like how accessible the ports are, you’ll hate it if wall mounting against a flat wall. You’d need 90 degree tips to make that work as the plugs would stick straight out the back. I’ve no need to change settings straight out of the box… this is big for me being I’m terrible adjusting monitors.
All and all, I just hope the monitor lasts long after the warranty is over. LG did good, still never getting another phone from them.
