Wera Chisel driver for fastening, chiselling and loosening seized screws. Multi-component Kraftform handle for fast and low-fatigue working. Kraftform Plus: hard gripping zones for high working speeds whereas soft zones ensure high torque transfer. A hexagon blade out of High quality bit material that extends right through the blade ensures full transfer of force, even when struck with a hammer. The ductile tempered material prevents the blade from splintering or breaking. Comes with an impact cap for durability and reduced risk of splintering. More torque can be transferred with the help of an open-end or ring spanner applied to the integrated hexagonal bolster. The Wera Black Point tip and a complex hardening process ensure a long service life of the tip, enhanced corrosion protection and an exact fit. The hexagonal anti-roll feature prevents any bothersome rolling away at the workplace and handle markings make for simplified finding and sorting of the tool.

NOTE: A word about Wera for those who consider COO when purchasing tools – Wera is a German company. Their tools are designed there, but manufactured elsewhere, primarily in the Czech Republic, but some products are being produced in Taiwan. I can't speak for every tool in their lineup, but they must have excellent quality control because every product of their's I have purchased (mostly screwdrivers and sockets) has been extremely well produced. I would match their fit and finish with any tool line. They favor a matte finish chrome over the heavily polished chrome favored by US tool makers. I have found their finish to be extremely durable. And their steel is as tough as any other professional quality tools I own (USA produced and otherwise). If quality and durability are your main concerns, then you should definitely consider Wera products.
What made me sad is I expected the nice BOLD YELLOW color of the Plus series and indeed the 2002 and 2004 (largest tip) comes with a solid black handle.
Its hard. Hard to hold and not pretty.
First one Amazon sent me even had a large gash in it that would tear your hand if I had used it continually. They replaced it readily.
But with the SOLID BLACK handle, I thought Amazon had sent me the wrong version of Wera Kraftform, the non plus version. I checked with the firm and indeed the LARGEST OF THE DRIVERS HAS THE DIFFERENT HANDLE.
I tried to upload images. Amazon didn't post them. I shall try again.
I do wish someone would make a driver large tipped, even an inch wide, short shaft (we're not all tall burly men) and give me a comfortable handle to boot.
It is a very solid, well-built screwdriver which looks and feels as though it will last a long time. Wish I would have given Wera a try sooner, it really is that good. This certainly will not be my only wera purchase, I've already added several Wera items to my wish list including the screwdriver with removable 4 inch blades. Only time will tell how long this lasts, but if anything changes, I will be sure to update my review. Can't go wrong with these and they should last a very long time.
I used this flathead like a prybar, which it is not, and as a result I snapped the tip. I emailed wera, showed them a picture, and received a replacement within a week. It was awesome.
It's a great product, and all the products I've tried for them have been high quality.
