I feel an annoying buzz in my ear when I wear ear pads. when I touch the cord where is located the control to up and down the volume
creates a big nuisance and a buzzing inside of my ear. the control is poorly localized almost close to the ear. must be located accessible under to the (Ye) where it says Bose. I'm a fan of Bose, but also I critical of bad engineering or when the product does not promise expected.
disappointed, I will sell to a friend.
Super crisp, bass, mid and high is just right - so well balanced.
I have every reason to love this earphone- including the nice carrying case.
Some people complain about the length of the wire- to me it's just right
Some people complain about how thin the wire is- to me it's not thin at all
Only 1, yes only 1 thing that may concern me is the wire material - they do seem to be weak but we will see about that :)
Overall? best quality for the price. period. just love it :)
First, the sound profile is vastly different. I suppose you could call these more "reference" level tuned but coming from the SoundSport these sound terrible. Flat bass with dull mids and tinny highs. They also don't get nearly as loud which I suppose should to be "okay" because of the sound isolation. Its not. The end result is a sound profile and quality that is just crap for a $130 headphones.
Two, sound isolation. Its good considering the buds don't fully enter the ear channel. A more comfortable alternative to those who want the isolation that in-ear monitors provide without the discomfort. That said, they stick out a good half inch from my ears so they feel awkward when moving around. The wing-tip design is still good and comfortable, about the only positive I can think of.
Three, construction. This is probably the biggest disappointment overall, there are so many flaws. The "T" joint has 90-degree turns. I can't imagine this joint lasting long at all if you get the cable snagged. It looks a lot like the Apple joints which are infamous for breaking down.
The choice of plastic for the cable. Awful, truly awful. It just feels cheap in comparison to the Sound Sports. Its far more rigid, too, which means the 'stethoscope" effect is more pronounced than it could be if the cable was softer and more able to absorb energy rather than transferring it directly to your ear drums. Honestly, its probably the worst thing about these headphones.
The cable is not tangle-resistant at all.
The button controls are mushy and provide almost no tactile feedback when you go to change volume.
$130 for this crap Bose? Give me a break. You could buy almost anything on the market for the the 3/4 or even 1/2 price and it would out perform this in almost every aspect.
