So for me an exercise bike is an exercise bike. However this one is comfortable, so makes those longer sessions more bearable.
After over 12 months of use a couple of snags started appearing (please clear in mind I use it 5/6 times a week, each session an hour or more) the left peddle partially snapped, the right peddle bearings started grating, the belt started fraying and I needed a new monitor sensor.
Having made contact with the guys, sending photos and video evidence they sent all replacement items for free ( I’d had the bike 16 months) I just had to cover the shipping costs.
From initial contact all issues were resolved in a matter of weeks. The bike…good as new.
The customer service has been absolutely amazing.

For a non professional biker, I find this bike to be a very high quality equipment.
Easy to assemble (did it alone in 30min); durable once installed and very silent.

Little problem with the wheel, seems it was hit somewhere during movement but the bent is not affecting its operations.

It arrived quickly. Quite a heavy box, so get help moving it wherever you need it to be.
It comes unassembled. The instruction manual is very clear. You don’t need any tools as it comes with everything needed to assemble the bike, and it’s fairly straight forward. I had one issue only with installing the front part, I had to push the adjustment break from inside to enable the metal for the handlers to fit in its place, then no problem.
Overall, it’s a good purchase for a first time spinning bike. It’s easily mobile and stable.

Honestly, as long as you weigh less than 280-290 pounds (it’s always good to have some reserve) and you do not mind a simple display, the Joroto X2 spin bike is definitely worth the price. Looking for a bike that can hold more weight? Consider the Cyclace or Pooboo instead.

From Peloton to Cyclace to Joroto- My experience

Pre-covid, I rode a Peloton bike at the gym every other day for a little over a year. I loved it and it made me love to workout, which I never really liked before. But, covid hit and my gym closed and I didn't want to pay that much money for a bike. After a very long period of no riding, I decided to buy the Cyclace bike. It was great in the very begginging and started making so many squealing sounds and I had to adjust things and grease things regularly and it would still be so loud. The sound was driving me and my family crazy. I eventually sent back that bike and bought this one. I haven't had it for long, but it is just a shockingly good bike. It is very close to the Peloton in smoothness of the belt, flywheel and resistance feel. I only have a couple of issues and they are small/or can't be helped in a bike at this price range. Here they are:

Handlebars: I am 5'11" with long arms and normally wouldn't even notice if something was not maybe the best for a shorter person. But, I think it is noticeable on this bike. The handlebars are set in a way that if I have the seat in the place it us supposed to be for my leg height and seat placement where it should be for my thigh length, the handlebars are about a half an inch too far away (see pic...I have it set as close to the seat as posssible). It is not a huge deal to me, but someone with shorter arms may struggle a bit. The handlebars are also a bit wider set than they other two bikes I have used. But, it has these inner bars set at an angle that I really like to use when I am in the saddle. The other thing is that instead of an iPad holder on the handlebars, it has two drink holders. I use it for my iPad anyway, but had to use two small bungee cords to secure it in place so it wouldn't fall during the more intense rides.

Resistance: the Cyclace bike had felt resistance pads and I really disliked that. It made a rubbing sound and I knew after I decided to send it back, I would get a bike with magnetic resistance. This bike has that and it is very smooth and can give you as heavy resistance as you could need (our of the saddle too). My only issue is that the resistance starts heavier than the other two bikes. Not too heavy, just I never would have that feeling of my legs just flailing. Which normally doesn't matter, but sometimes at the end of a cool down, I really like to open it up. But, it isn't a big deal. But, the bigger issue to me is how many cranks it takes to get from the lower resistance levels to the higher ones. It feels like the resistance doesn't change that much for several turns and then it heats up pretty quickly. This makes some intervals a little harder when you go out of the saddle with high resistance and then a quick seated recovery. But, I am getting used to it and I am wondering if the company may know of some little tweaks. I haven't reached out to them.

All in all this is a really awesome bike. It is so quiet, so smooth and very sturdy. There is no sqeaking and squealing so far. I really hope it stays that way. Peloton is nearly perfect for me, but this bike is so close behind it. When you factor in the cost of both bikes, it is a no brainer to go this route, at least if you are a thrifty person like me.

I am so happy with this purchase! The only thing that could make it better is a resistance output, but at this price range, you just wont find that. I use my heart rate to guide resistance.

Some things that I use to make the spin experience of even better is:

Peloton app (12.99 per month without the bike. Worth it!)
Wahoo cadence tracker (it displays on the Peloton app and is so easy to attach to your pedal arm)
Spd pedals and clip in shoes (to me it is a must after starting at first with regular shoes).
Fitbit- I set it to spinning and use it to watch my heart rate. It really helps to guide how intense I set my resistance.

I also use a TV tray next to the bike to hold my a small fan, my weights and my water. It works great and you can just tuck it away when your done (see pic).

I also didn't purchase a mat and it works great on hard floors. I do keep a small rug next to it so when I get on a off, I don't scratch the floor with the clips. I leave my bike in the same place, so I don't know how easy it would be to move it around, but it has the wheels on the front.

That is it. If you are on the fence, I would absolutely recommend it. If anything changes, I will update my review.

NEW UPDATE - Good bike - Belt noise resolved

Delivery- arrived in less than a week. No issues. I have had it for a week now.
Assembly- takes less than 20 minutes. Seriously! 4 screws to attach the frame ( already assembled ) to the support bars and the. Insert the front& rear posts. Attach the handlebard and the seat and you are done! Simple and efficient design. Heavy metal and very sturdy bike.

If you did your homework, you already know this bikes combines the main features you want:

- magnetic resistance, belt driven flyweel.
- 4 ways adjustable seat AND handlebar.

And indeed it delivers. Smooth and silent ( not totally, you can still hear the belt), you can throw your weight on it and it does not wobble. ( I am 160 pounds or 80 kg). Very hard resistance at its max, but still smooth. It has a very useful range. I use it seated as well as standing and it does not wobble. Seat provided is cushioned and seems fine but i have mounted my own MTB seat ( harder & sportier) on it since by butt is used to it....
I love the look of its mat black with red touches and chrome finish. I have it in my living room and it looks great.( see pic). It does matter for some...

Customer service is awesome. I had various questions prior and after the purchase and they replied within 24hr, genuinely interested in you having a good experience. I do not doubt they can handle any issue looking forward. Kudos to Joroto in putting a dedicated CS team together and making the bike available in these dire pandemic times....

I added a cadence sensor and use my iwatch for heart rate, use it with Peloton with metrics on screen( see pic). Perfect for me as I didn't want a bike with a monitor attached. I prefer to use Peloton when I am inclined to or simply watch news or anything else on my tv while pedalling ( and without another screen in between).

I will update if anything but pleased so far.
You can’t go wrong with this bike.

UPDATE

I started hearing increasing noises from the belt/pedal area. As instructed by CS, I tOok the cover off and realized that the inner side of the belt was being shredded. Cs sent me a new belt, which I installed ( takes an hour to disassemble the front wheel to do that...). First 30 mn were fine and now the new belt is being shredded as well. You can hear the gritty noise while peddling which makes it really annoying!
Still unresolved. Taking 3 stars off for now

Issue could be quality of the belt or the wheel that grinds the belt as you go
If I can’t get a quality belt this is going back.

NEW UPDATE

Belt noise was due to rubber residue inside the grooves of the belt. This was cleaned, scratched away using a nail file by myself.
Bike is now smooth& silent.

Fast delivery of an excellent, well made product. Very solid, stable and sturdy. Packaging is fully protective of the bike and it comes complete with good instructions and all the tools required for the straightforward assembly. Handlebars and seat can be adjusted rapidly for height and reach of each person using it with easily read numbers to aide simple repositioning later for your own settings. The magnetic resistance is easily applied by rotating a palm-sized knob that is well positioned for adjustment whilst riding the bike, however, there is no way to easily determine the minimum and maximum settings. As described, this bike is virtually silent when being ridden. It looks great and has a sturdiness that offers the rider full confidence in its quality. Moving it around is straightforward as the bike is beautifully balanced on the two transportation wheels. The supplied electronic monitor has limited functionality but offers some useful statistics like time, distance etc. Very well worth the fee paid and fully recommended to anyone looking for a good quality product that more than lives up to its description.

Great bike, super simple, sturdy, and I added my own wahoo cadence and speed sensors. This is the basic model.

Even for a basic and economical stationary bike, this feels pretty solid. It definitely rides smoothly and is quiet. I can see why various reviews have this as they do.

The only downside is the LCD display. It is so hard to see, and so cheap that I feel it really diminishes from the product brand itself. If you are in a dark / shaded room, it is impossible to see anything. That’s the biggest disappointment with this model.

After checking out reviews and product specs on several spin bikes I made the decision to go with the Joroto X2. The Amazon delivery was excellent from order to front door took just two days. Assembly took less than one hour using the tools provided. The quality of the parts feels solid and when assembled looks the part. The seat which is well padded and the handlebars with 2 x cup holders and up to 10” tablet bracket are fully adjustable and easy to set to individual rider requirements. The large gear knob is positioned in a good spot and is well made. The magnetic resistance magnet system and the large flywheel allows for very quiet use. Gear changes will take a little time to learn as there is no direct gear change mechanism just a threaded spindle style adjustment system that opens and closes the magnet bar. I’ve owned the bike for a month now and after an average of about ten hours hard spinning per week (40hrs in total) I have no complaints. Other features include a basic electronic on-board trip monitor giving time, speed, distance and calories burnt. There are also four adjustable feet and two transportation feet located on the ground supports.
I’ve added some additions including a Wahoo cadence (rpm) sensor which works well with it’s app. I’ve also replaced the standard pedals with a set of Joroto SPD 9/16” Pedals purchased direct from Joroto. The standard SPD cleat brackets are adjustable using a 3mm allen key. These pedals also come with the shoe cage which I’ve left the cages on so family and friends can also make use of the bike with standard sports shoes. Joroto’s support help desk was excellent with its email communication regarding the pedal purchase. I’ve started using them with a pair of bike shoes and they work well.
Oh I also added a floor mat and yes I’ve definitely started sweating a lot. No Pain No gain. If it hurts it works.
I would recommend the Joroto X2 Spin Bike to anyone with a £500 budget.

Update: I've now owned the X2 for four months and it's time to add to my initial review. The bike is still performing well after many hours of hard exercise. I ended up changing the Joroto pedals to a set of Shimano PD-M520 as the Joroto pedals didn't pass the longevity test. After speaking with Joroto, they reimbursed me for the pedals which was good of them.
Added another sensor. The moofit Speed sensor which has been fitted to the flywheel. You’ll find clips on YouTube to help with the setting up of this as the sensor requires some fine adjustment to get the speed computation correct.
I'd like to mention Joroto's customer service. It's been the best I've come across for a long time. I had an issue with the drive belt which was starting to show signs of damage due to the pinch roller being slightly out of alignment, I requested a replacement belt as the bike was still within warranty and Joroto's support was second to none. I was happily and very surprised when they said they would be dispatching a replacement brand new bike and true to their word a new bike arrived within days. A big thank you to Joroto.
