In general, it is hard to beat this watch in Price over quality (performance, look, brand recognition) among the swiss watches.
It is an elegant, luxury and simply beautiful dress watch!
Having 80 hrs of power reserve is a great feature in this price range of the swiss watch!
As a dress watch, It has a right case size for a big wrist.
You should be aware of this items:
Although the leather band is good, It does not look very luxury.
Metal parts are not as polish as I expected. However, it is not a bad thing in the long term.
The sapphire window glass is not antireflective as I expected.

週明けでも時間調整に困ることはなかったり
クロノメーターなのではあるけど日差がマイナス側で出てしまってるのでマイナス1

I bought this watch a little over a year ago based on reviews, appearance, price and it was COSC certified. In the beginning it kept excellent time, losing between 1-2 seconds a day. Recently it started losing 20-30 seconds a day. I am returning under the warranty. If it can be repaired, great. If not & I received a refund, I will purchase a different brand of watch.

Update: Watch was repaired under warranty. A complete movement service, gaskets, pressure test & bath were performed. Took about 3 weeks from shipping back till I received the watch back. I’ve had the watch 10 days and so far so good. It’s only been 2 seconds off. Some days I’ve checked it and it’s been dead accurate with government time website.

After 11 days watch has gone back to running fast. I wore it several days in a row and it stopped sometime during the night after taking it off. I checked it at 8:30 AM and it was stopped at 6:12. I hand wound & reset. Around noon the date started to change. Now I’m wondering if it was running so fast as to gain almost 10 hours during the night and stopped at 6:12 PM. I’m keeping an eye on it. After setting it to government time it has gained 6 seconds the first hour. Looks like another trip for warranty repair. If this was a cheap watch it would be in the trash.

Hopefully final update:
I was about to give up on this watch. I contacted Amazon and explained the problem. The watch was repaired under the Asurion warranty but less than two weeks became very inaccurate. They told me to contact Tissot and if they could not help me then Amazon would make good on the watch. Everything I had read online was Tissot would not honor warranty on a grey market watch. To my surprise Tissot did honor the mfg warranty. They paid for shipping and replaced the movement with a new COSC movement. They also included the COSC certificate that was missing in the original purchase. Turn around time was about 3 weeks. Just received watch back. Seems to be running good. Looks like new. Since it was repaired by Tissot, I also have a new 2 year warranty.

Instead of boring you with the "watch jargon" that most watch snobs will write, I will point out 3 pros and cons of this watch. This is NOT an "entry level" watch as most watch snobs point out so don't feel cheap by settling with Tissot. It all comes down to budget and what you can afford. Tissot has been around since 1853 and has had a significant impact on the Swiss watch industry (I think that is a reputable brand in my opinion).

Pros:
- Certified Chronometere by COSC (not too many watches in the $800-$1500 price range are certified but this one is; hence, bears the Chronometere name on the dial).
- Powermatic 80 (80 hour power reserve) - Swiss watches that sale for two or three times as much and have a more prestigious brand image only have half that power reserve. I know some people may say it sounds redundant on an automatic watch that you may wear everyday but it's a unique feature and it really sets this watch a part from other watches in its category. E.g., Oris, Hamilton, etc.
-Classic Design and suitable for dress attire. - Many watch forums show their dislike for the "blah" design of the dial. Let's get one thing straight, it's supposed to be boring and simple because it's a dress watch. It's not supposed to stand out or look cool.

Cons:
- My main complaint is the name that Tissot chose for this watch "Luxury Automatic". Thankfully it's not written anywhere on the watch but it sure sounds like Tissot was trying a bit hard to appeal to the mid-level watch consumer aka "the masses".
- The dial is a bit large in terms of diameter. It doesn't bother me and fits well under cuffs. Many decent dress watches are 40mm and below. This watch is 41mm. However this is a personal preference; NOT what the "status quo" dictates. Overall, the watch is ideal for my small wrist and is discrete.
- Leather band. Unfortunately, the leather band has a semi-cheap feel to it. It smells nice and is real leather but I've had better on cheaper watches. Thankfully, you can replace it. I'm only going to replace the band once it gets old or starts to peel.

When it comes down to it, your budget is the most important thing when buying watches. This watch is unique in it's own ways. Aside from the budget factor, I looked at other classic time pieces that are comparable to Tissot (Oris and Hamilton were the main ones) and this watch stood out and delivered better specs (chronometre, 80 hour power reserve, thinness at 9.75mm) and Updated-Classic Design. This truly is a timeless piece and I have ZERO regrets purchasing it!!!
